Extra cover options
Alongside your Wellbeing Two plan, you can add extra cover that can provide a lump sum payment for serious illnesses or trauma events. Each can provide extra financial support during a tough time:
Cancer Assist
A Cancer Assist policy provides a one-off payment if you’re diagnosed with a qualifying cancer. Spend this payment on what’s important to you at a time when you need it most.
Eligibility criteria, policy terms and conditions, including exclusions apply.
Critical Illness
A Critical Illness policy provides a one-off payment if you have a confirmed diagnosis of a critical illness event, such as a heart attack, stroke, qualifying cancer, paralysis, organ failure or loss of independent living.

Option to reduce your insurance premium with an excess
Adding an excess is one way you can reduce your premiums. The excess only applies to surgical procedures, chemotherapy (including Cancer Cover Plus) and radiotherapy. You don't need to pay the excess when claiming on other benefits of the policy.

Excess applies to each person covered under the policy and is only payable once each claims year.
