Mental health sessions with Raise
How you're feeling affects how you're doing. That's why as a Southern Cross member you get up to three online mental health sessions, every year - to see a counsellor (individual or couples) or wellbeing coach.
Here's how:
- Book online or call Raise on 0800 735 343
- You'll need to provide your Southern Cross member number when you make the booking
- You can find this on your member card or in the My Southern Cross app
Raise provides practical mental health assistance if you have a personal or work issue that may be impacting any area of your life or wellbeing.
Annual health check with MedPro
Regular check-ups can make a big difference. Your membership now includes a health check, every year - available to members aged 16 and over.
Here’s how:
- Find more information and book online here, or call MedPro on 09 838 3555 (Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm)
- You’ll need to provide your Southern Cross member number when you make the booking
- You can find this on your member card or in the My Southern Cross app
MedPro provides New Zealanders with comprehensive and reliable healthcare services nationwide, including health checks, health monitoring and vaccinations.
Access to unlimited online GP consults with CareHQ
Peace of mind for you and your family. Instead of paying $79.95, GP appointments are available to Southern Cross members free of charge between 7am and 7pm when they are booked via the MySouthernCross app.
Here's how:
- Book using your My Southern Cross app
- Each adult 16 years and older on your policy must book using their own login in the My Southern Cross app
- Only the policyholder can make a booking through the app for dependent children on the policy
- If you don't already have the My Southern Cross app, find out how to download the app for free here
- If you are unable to complete the booking using the app, please contact us. You will not be refunded for CareHQ appointments made directly through the CareHQ website or app. You will only be able to claim for reimbursement if you have GP cover under your policy.
CareHQ provides New Zealanders with easy access to an experienced, New Zealand registered GP, 7 days a week. CareHQ is designed to support your enrolled practice and not replace it, so if you have a CareHQ consultation, you can still return to your normal GP for your ongoing care. All the doctors at CareHQ are Fellows of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
