Gives you the option to upgrade from the chemotherapy for cancer benefit to either $100,000 or $300,000 per claims year towards treatment, including Pharmac and non-Pharmac approved drugs. Subject to eligibility criteria. Only available on KiwiCare, RegularCare, Wellbeing One, Wellbeing Two, and UltraCare plans. Only available to members under 60 years old.

Provides a one-off payment of up to $300,000, on top of your health insurance, if you’re diagnosed with a qualifying cancer or critical illness, or suffer a trauma such as a heart attack, stroke or loss of independent living. You can add this cover for just you or for other qualifying members on your policy. Subject to eligibility criteria. Members over 65 are only insured to $20,000 of cover.
