Distribution
Offer our health insurance, critical illness and wellness products to individuals and businesses all over the country, and provide additional support by running workplace wellness seminars and initiatives for our corporate clients.

Finance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure we sustain a strong financial position and manage business risk while complying with statutory regulations.

Information Systems & Business Transformation
Maintain a flexible, secure and reliable IT environment.

Member Services
Look after our Health Society members queries and claims, and the day-to-day administration of Southern Cross Pet Insurance. We’re especially proud of our award winning Contact Centre who, for four years running, has won the CRM Contact Centre Awards Member Support Service award.

People & Performance
Work alongside our business units to develop programmes to attract, engage and grow our human resource.

Product & Marketing
Develop health insurance products that are best in class and position Southern Cross as a strong and dependable organisation that cares about the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders.

Provider Network
Work with healthcare providers to deliver better value for Southern Cross members through our Affiliated Provider programme and liaison services with the ACC.

Our main office is in Auckland’s Britomart precinct and is where the majority of our departments, including the nationwide contact centre, are located.

The next largest office is in Hamilton’s CBD and is home to our Claims, Easy-claim and Southern Cross Pet Insurance teams, as well as a team of sales consultants.

We also have two small teams of sales consultants located in central Wellington and Christchurch, and several smaller regional offices dotted around the country.

All of our teams share a common passion for our nation’s health. This is what inspires us to come to work every day and keeps us working to achieve our vision of creating a healthier society.
