What do you mean by a 'qualifying' pre-existing health condition?
In general terms, qualifying pre-existing conditions are pre-existing conditions that aren’t otherwise excluded in the policy document. For example, you won’t be reimbursed for treatment classed as acute care even if you have cover for the pre-existing condition which led to the acute care. This is because acute care is not an eligible healthcare service under the policy document.
You may be able to get cover for qualifying pre-existing conditions after 3 years of continuous cover on our UltraCare plan.
