Lunch Well Competition - Terms and Conditions

  1. Any employee of a Southern Cross Medical Care Society (Southern Cross) corporate customer who: 
    1. comments on the ‘Lunch Well’ post on the Southern Cross LinkedIn “Page”; or
    2. shares a photo or video of their team celebrating NZ Lunch Well Day on the above page
      during the promotional period (28 March – 5th April) and who meets the eligibility criteria below (applicant) will go into the draw to win 1 prize of a lunch shout up to a maximum of $500.00 incl GST.
  2. Eligibility Criteria:
    To be eligible, the comment, photo or video must communicate clearly one way the applicant is making the most of their lunch break in a way that improves their wellbeing. Photos do not have to include a person in them, they could be from the perspective of the applicant taking the photo or video. They can include team members, provided the applicant has notified everyone included in the photo that it will be published on social media and entered into this competition, and received their express permission for that purpose. The applicant must be the owner of the photo/video. Entries must not be adjusted or digitally altered in any way.  Any entry which Southern Cross considers, in its sole discretion, to be offensive will not be eligible.  In addition, the Southern Cross Social Media House Rules apply to the competition and entries which contravene those House Rules will be ineligible.
  3. Southern Cross staff members and their families are not eligible to enter the competition.
  4. There is only one entry per applicant.
  5. By entering the competition, each applicant agrees that Southern Cross may republish their entry on its website. In addition, the prize winner, gives Southern Cross permission to use the winning comment, photo or video externally via its social media channels and in internal communications, at any time.
  6. Entry into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  7. The prize will be drawn on Friday 12 April 2019. The winner will be the entry which Southern Cross considers, at its sole discretion, best illustrates lunching well.  Southern Cross’ decision is final.
  8. The winner will be notified by Southern Cross via direct message on LinkedIn or by telephone.
  9. If Southern Cross is unable to contact the prize winner within 10 business days following the prize a new prize winner may be chosen, in which case the first prize winner will forfeit the prize.
  10. Southern Cross is not liable for any loss, damage or injury by any person in connection with the competition or the prize.
