“I thought this kind of stuff happens to other people, it doesn’t happen to me.”

At 26, Lily was fit and healthy. She’d never broken a bone or had any form of serious illness. When her first smear test came back positive for HPV, she was blindsided. “I was just so overwhelmed. I went into almost autopilot.”
