I have already started my treatment for Varicose Veins and I have a procedure booked. How does the new continuous cover period impact me?

We understand some members are already part way through assessments or are still finalising treatment plans with their provider. You can continue working with your provider. What determines cover is the actual date the procedure is performed. If your procedure takes place before 1 April 2026, your procedure will be covered under the current policy wording and the new 3 year continuous cover period will not apply.

If your procedure is happening on or after 1 April 2026 and you have not yet completed 3 years of continuous cover, you will need to reach that before you are eligible for cover under current policy wording.
