Costs for healthcare services for a skin lesion were covered previously but now my claim has been declined for the same thing. Why?
The eligibility criteria for skin lesion services has changed. We are focussed on providing cover for healthcare services related to skin lesions that are cancerous, likely to be cancerous, or which raise significant clinical concern. Because of this shift, some skin lesion services that were previously covered may no longer meet the updated eligibility criteria. Each new skin lesion is assessed under the eligibility criteria in place at the time you receive the healthcare service.
