FAQs and quick answers
What are reasonable charges and member contribution?
As per your policy, “Reasonable charges are charges for healthcare services that we decide are reasonable based on our review of our data (acting reasonably).”
For some healthcare services, healthcare providers may charge more than what we consider to be reasonable for specific fee for service procedures that aren’t covered by our Affiliated Provider programme. If this happens, you may need to make a member contribution. Before your healthcare service is provided, you should apply for prior approval as early as possible so that we can determine the extent of your cover. Please contact us if you need help understanding what this means.
