Your employer, Spark New Zealand Trading Limited, currently pays for you to have the Wellbeing Two plan with the Keeping Well Plus module and you can upgrade your cover at your own cost.

Starting from 26 March 2026, the plan that your employer pays for will be changing. They will now pay for you to have cover under the Wellbeing One plan. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Your policy: Your Southern Cross health insurance cover will continue, but your employer will be changing the plan that they pay for you to have. You can have upgraded cover at your own cost, and you will pay for any family members you may have on your policy.
  • What you need to do: If you want to change your plan, please fill in the form below. If you want to stay on your current plan, but your communication from us said you need to set up a payment method to do so, please refer to the letter or email we sent you that has instructions on how to set up payment in MySouthernCross.
  • If you want to make a change to your policy, please contact us by 5 March 2026. Because your policy is a contract between you and Southern Cross, your employer can’t make any changes on your behalf.

If you currently pay a premium top up and we don’t hear from you

You will stay on your current plan, and your chosen payment method will be automatically updated to reflect the difference in premium between your current plan and the new plan your employer will be paying for. Please refer to the email or letter we sent notifying you of this change for more information.

If you don’t currently pay a premium top up and we don’t hear from you

We will start charging you premiums from 26 March 2026, so it’s important that you get in touch to change your plan, or visit MySouthernCross to set up a direct debit to pay for your current plan.

To change your plan, please use the form below to let us know what would like to do.
