BeingWell Conference 2018 Terms & Conditions
Submission of an online registration for the BeingWell Conference on 1 November 2018 (“the conference”) is regarded acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Southern Cross reserves the right to provide registration at a discounted fee at its sole discretion. Discount codes can only be used once.
If you need to cancel, you must notify Southern Cross via email to email@example.com
by Monday, 29 October 2018.
If you notify us by that date the registration fee you paid will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee.
Refunds will be applied to the credit card used for payment of the original fee. Cash refunds will not be considered.
Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals, early departures, “no-shows”, or cancellation requests received after Monday, 29 October 2018.
We reserve the right to cancel the conference 20 days prior to the date of the conference. If you are coming from out of town we suggest you do not make any arrangements prior to this or make flexible travel arrangements. If Southern Cross cancel the conference all registration fees paid will be refunded in full.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel/accommodation bookings and no compensation will be made should the conference be rescheduled or cancelled.
You may transfer your registration to another person in your company if you are unable to attend the BeingWell conference. Please notify us of any transfers via email before Monday, 29 October 2018. Attendees transferring registrations to another person are responsible for any and all financial arrangements between transferring and receiving parties.
Ticket sharing is prohibited.
>When you register for the conference we will collect your full name, your job title, the name of your employer, your email address, your phone number, and the region where you work.
We will use the information we collect about you when you register and/or attend the conference to administer your registration and communicate with you about the conference (including gathering feedback). We will also use this information to contact you from time to time with information about products and services relating to BeingWell, Southern Cross Health Society, other ‘Southern Cross’ branded businesses, and our trusted business partners.
In addition, if you have given us express permission to do so, a BeingWell account manager will contact you after the conference to discuss the BeingWell proposition.
We will only share the personal information we hold about you as a result of your registration with third parties (including service providers) for the above purposes.
We will do our best to keep your personal information secure and safe. Your personal information will be held by Southern Cross (2 Takutai Square, Britomart, Auckland 1010) in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
Photos and filming
Photos and video will be taken during the conference and may be used by Southern Cross in printed and electronic materials (including without limitation, on the internet, social media, in press releases and electronic communications) for marketing and promotional purposes. You agree to waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed and / or filmed or are not comfortable with your image being used in this manner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org address before the conference or come and talk to us on the day of the conference.
If one or more of the conditions outlined in these terms & conditions should be or become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These terms & conditions apply to all attendees of this event.
Southern Cross reserves the right to make any amendments to the conference agenda deemed to be in the best interest of the conference. Agenda is correct at time of registration, please check online for any updates.
