The Southern Cross Member programme is another way to get value from your Southern Cross membership. We've negotiated great deals with health-related providers and retailers throughout New Zealand for members. No other health insurer in New Zealand can match the extra benefits you'll find in our Member programme.
Even if you're not claiming, you're getting benefits.
Discounts and special offers with health-related retailers and services help you to cut the cost of staying healthy. You'll save on things like gym memberships, health products, eye tests and much more. The Southern Cross Member programme is made up of the Member card, Alive magazine, regular Member vouchers and the Southern Cross directory.

 All members over the age of 16 years receive a Member card that carries their Southern Cross membership number. This card is best kept in your wallet, so you can produce it when needed. It can be used for accessing services from Southern Cross partners and redeeming the discount and special offer vouchers we regularly send you. Also, if you call us about anything, we always ask for your membership number - your Member card is the quickest way to find it.

 This directory is updated and a new version provided every year. It's split into two sections:
1. The first section lists all the Affiliated Providers (selected health service providers) in the Southern Cross network. We always recommend that you use these providers and services, because it simplifies the prior approval and claiming process for you. 2. The second section of the directory lists the Member programme partners - retailers, health providers and businesses throughout New Zealand that partner with Southern Cross by offering discounts and special offers to members.
