Securities Commissioner and chartered accountant, Liz Hickey, has joined the Board of the Southern Cross Healthcare Group.
In that role she will be a director of not-for-profit health insurer Southern Cross Medical Care Society, and a Trustee of the charitable Southern Cross Health Trust which owns the Southern Cross travel insurance and hospitals businesses.
Ms Hickey is a member of the Securities Commission, and a director of the Institute of Environmental Science & Research and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. She is a former director of Radio New Zealand and Genesis Power.
